Cabinetry & Built-ins: Kitchens, vanities, libraries, and closet systems made with the same care as fine furniture.
Collector Pieces: One-of-a-kind work featuring hand-cut dovetails and marquetry inlay. Built once, never repeated.
THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE JOINERY
Most furniture today is held together with screws, staples, and glue, built to hit a price. Mine is held together with hand-cut dovetails and mortise-and-tenon joints, the same methods that keep centuries-old pieces standing. It takes longer. That’s the point.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Free On-Site Estimate: I come to your home, see the space, and talk through what you need. You get a rough estimate with no obligation.
2. Design: For a design fee, I create detailed drawings and finalize wood, dimensions, and finish with you before a single board is cut.
3. Build: Your piece is built by hand in my Yelm shop. I keep you updated along the way.
Note: I build and deliver; installation is handled by your contractor or installer.
ABOUT BRIAN
I’m Brian Anderson, an Olympia-area native and the only person who touches your piece. Before opening Anderson Woodwork, I spent about twelve years in custom home building, which taught me how furniture and cabinetry have to live in a real house. When you hire me, you work directly with the person designing and building your piece. No catalogs, no middlemen.
